$280,000.00 Multi-Vehicle Car Accident Case

The Firm resolved our client’s claims for amounts totaling $280,000.00 in Cause No. 2013-12595; Nicole Renee Andrepont v. Clemencia Gonzalez-Martinez, Thomas M. Canty and Martha Amezcua; In the 269^th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas. The case was a disputed liability case arising out of a multi-vehicle automobile accident that occurred on Sam Houston E. Parkway near George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Defendants alleged that, among other things, the driver of the vehicle in which our client was a passenger was negligent and that such negligence caused the accident. There was no lost wage or loss of earning capacity claim, and the “paid or incurred” medical expense figure was a fraction of the settlement amount. After multiple depositions, the case settled shortly before trial.
