Policy Limits Third-Party and Underinsured Motorist Settlements for “Soft-Tissue” Injuries

The Firm recently settled our clients’ claims totaling $260,000.00, comprising of policy limit recoveries made on behalf of a husband and wife as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Maverick County, Texas. We obtained policy limits from the tortfeasor’s carrier ($30,000.00) on behalf of the husband, a prominent attorney in Maverick County/Dimmit County/Zavala County, and then successfully recovered the full policy limits amount ($100,000.00) from his own carrier. The husband had less than $20,000.00 in “paid or incurred” medical expenses.  The Firm similarly obtained policy limits recoveries on behalf of the wife.
