Policy Limits Catastrophic Injury Case

The Firm successfully resolved our clients’ claims for policy limits in Cause No. 19-CV-1142; Monica Bustos, et al. v. Juan Antonio Alvizo and Karina Diaz; In the 56^th Judicial District Court of Galveston County, Texas.

This case arose out of an incident that occurred in Galveston, Texas. The tortfeasor, traveling at a high rate of speed in the midst of a chase with the Dickinson Police Department after evading arrest and detention, struck our clients’ vehicle from the rear. A minor child was involved and, unfortunately, suffered a catastrophic and life-threatening brain injury. The Minor’s claim, as well as her mom’s individual claim, each settled for policy limits (total of $200,000.00).
