$238,000.00 (Nearly 10x the Medical) Porta Potty Accident Case

The Firm recovered the sum of $238,000.00 for our client in Cause No. 2019-10-33005-CV; Noel Sanchez v. Rene Nolasco and Reno’s Rentals, Inc.; In the 38^th Judicial District Court of Uvalde County, Texas. The case arose out of an incident that occurred in Uvalde, Texas. The tortfeasor was operating a tractor-trailer combination and traveling on US 90, when a porta potty fell off his trailer and onto the highway, causing the operators of the vehicles traveling behind him to take evasive action to try and avoid the porta potty. Our client, who was operating one of the vehicles traveling behind the tortfeasor, was unable to avoid striking the vehicle immediately behind the tortfeasor. Our client sustained back and neck injuries as a result of the incident. “Paid or incurred” medical expenses were less than $30,000.00.
