$190,000.00 Rear-End Accident Case with Rotator Cuff Injury

The Firm resolved a rear-end accident case with minor property damage for the sum of $190,000.00 in a case styled Cause No. 2015-00905; Marc Koren, Individually and As Next Friend of Stephanie Koren, a Minor v. Samuel Spence, James Spence and Constance Spence; In the 269^th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas. 

Our client alleged that he suffered a torn rotator cuff as a result of the accident, which Defendants disputed, pointing to, among other things, an MRI scan which failed to reveal any tear and which otherwise only revealed degenerative changes. Defendants also challenged our client’s medical through a retained expert, claiming that the charges were unreasonable and/or that much of the treatment was unnecessary. The case settled shortly before trial.
