The Firm successfully resolved our client’s claims for confidential sums in connection with a hose rupture and chemical release that occurred at one of the major refineries in Pasadena, Texas.
Our client, along with others represented by other law firms, brought suit against the premises owner and various product manufacturers and sellers to recover damages sustained as a result of a chemical release that occurred at a chemical plant in Pasadena, Texas. The release was caused when a high-pressure hose used at the plant to transfer a hazardous chemical gas ruptured. Our client tripped and fell during the mayhem and sustained a back injury.
Along with other Plaintiffs’ counsel, the Firm successfully defeated a Writ of Mandamus filed with the Court of Appeals, whereby one of the Defendants sought to compel the trial court to sever and abate the various cross-claims from the Plaintiffs’ underlying liability claims. The Firm favorably settled our client’s claims for a confidential amount.
