Manuel Olivares d/b/a Olivares Painting, Kelly Painting & Drywall, LLC and Kelly Painting and Decorating, LP; In the 293rd Judicial District Court of Maverick County, Texas). Liability was hotly disputed as the principal defendants argued that they did not control the work being performed or our client’s activities, both of which were alleged to be under the control of a contractor (i.e., our client’s judgment-proof employer).
